Overview

This villa is approx. five minutes’ drive away from the beaches & town of Moraira, which it overlooks. Recently renovated with new swimming pool, bathrooms and kitchen (with dishwasher) plus new decor, beds & fabrics. On the upper level of the property is the main house with lounge/ living room, kitchen, master bedroom with en suite bathroom & two twin bedrooms & another full bathroom. Rooms have ceiling fans & the living room features a log-burner, broadband internet, satellite TV, DVD & Hi-Fi. A covered naya offers al fresco dining & fabulous views to be enjoyed both day & night. At the rear of the property is a summer kitchen & barbecue/dining area & a casita (housing washing machine, freezer, boiler, etc). The property is set in well maintained, palm-filled gardens offering either sunshine or shade. On the lower level is a newly-renovated apartment used as a day room with shower & WC plus a private pool and terrace, which is completely private yet open & offering the same stunning views.

The property is south-facing and has a completely renovated kitchen including brand-new appliances (incl. dishwasher) , new bathrooms, new swimming pool and patio area. There is a renovated studio on the pool level with an en suite shower/WC and sofa bed to accommodate an older teenager or adult (maximum occupancy is seven people - preferred occupany is six). There are steps from car port to swimming pool level and a further twenty to the upper living level. The metal railing to the balcony on the upper level has a height of about 70cm and due care should be taken with children. The house is set in well-maintained gardens of about 1,000m³ with an automatic irrigation system looking after the many established palm trees.

The Moraira area

Formerly a fishing village, Moraira is now an attractive seaside town which offers a variety of shops, excellent bars & restaurants, entertainment and sporting facilities without losing any of its welcoming charm. Buildings are low-rise according to strict planning laws and the town has retained its narrow cobbled streets and church square with a promenade, fort and marina. There are two beaches; one at nearby El Portet and the main La Ampolla beach in Moraira itself is wide, sandy and well-maintained. The water is calm and shallow, ideal for families. This part of the Costa Blanca is recognised by the World Health Organisation as one of healthiest places in the world, with a temperate climate and an average of 320 days’ sunshine it is easy to see why people return year after year. Water-sports, golf, tennis, horse-riding, go-karts, walking, cycling, climbing, para-sailing and theme parks are all in the vicinity. Flights to Alicante or Valencia are equally good for getting to Moraira.

Bedroom notes:  All rooms (except pool studio) have ceiling fans. The Master En Suite and Red Bedroom have views over the naya to Moraira and the Mediterranean. Pool room is a 'bonus' day studio and really is only suitable for sleeping use by older teenager or adult as it's separate to the main villa.. It includes an en suite shower/WC and fridge/freezer. Although the house can, therefore, sleep up to seven persons, preferred letting occupancy is six persons.

Wonderfully Relaxing ...

Have just returned from a wonderfully relaxing week at this villa. The view is breathtakingly amazing. Helped by the fabulous gardens that surround the property with palm trees, cactus, aloe plants and a fig tree too. The villa was clean and tidy on arrival. Pool great size and the pool room with toilet, shower and fridge a very convenient place to keep wine and beers cool! Had many barbecues on the rear patio area, it was also where we ate breakfast too. Dinner was normally on the naya with the fantastic view. The utility room was well stocked with washing machine, another large fridge freezer for drinks and ice creams and seat cushions. We felt like it was home away from home with games, binoculars, candles and some drinks in the cupboard in the lounge area. All in all a great place to stay. (Christine and Simon)

Hi there, Thank you very much for allowing us to stay in your villa.Yes, we had a wonderful time and found everything that we needed (at a lovely high standard) to relax straight into things. The pool was fantastic and Erin really enjoyed splashing around in it all week! Stunning Location ...

Hi Just a few lines to tell you what a lovely time we had at your villa. It really was like home from home and had all the comforts we could wish for plus a stunning location and amazing weather. The children loved the pool and to sit having a glass of wine on the terrace after a hard day's work on the beach was total bliss. We would, without hesitation, like to stay at the villa again.
